We are at the Kruger National Park in South Africa, but this was the last night we spent here, this morning we leave, Swaziland is waiting for us!

We woke up early, like all the other mornings, we have breakfast, we close Dr. Livingstone and we leave; before going out we do a short ride, early in the morning the animals are more active so we could spot something.

Leaving the camp we turn right onto the dirt road and go to see if anyone is at the Matjulu waterhole, it is only 4 km but the dirt road is wrinkled, we have no problems with our car, but normal cars must pay attention if they want to travel this path.

There is no one at the waterhole, so we decide to go back, we do not have much time, otherwise we would have driven all the dirt road; instead we decide to return to the camp and take the part of asphalt road that winds through the stony hills.

Here and there we see several buffaloes on the slopes of the hills and, at a certain point, we also see a solitary elephant, it's gigantic and it's beautiful.

In a short time we arrive at the main road, crossing many safari off-roads that enter for daily safaris; we feel a bit annoyed to see them enter while we have to go out, but we spent 12 wonderful days at the Kruger National Park and we are happy, we are also sure that it is not a farewell, but a see you soon!

We leave from the Malelane gate, we are a bit fond of this gate because from here we entered the first time the Kruger, and you know, the first time you never forget!

After 12 days of safari leaving the park and seeing people on the roadside in place of the elephants it is a little strange.

We follow the signs to the state border, Swaziland is really close and we do not take long to reach the border; we leave South Africa and enter Swaziland in a very short time, among other things, the border post of Swaziland is brand new and technological, we did not remember it like that, they must have modernized everything.

We leave and soon the road begins to climb a bit steep up to Pigs Peak and then plunges down to Mbabane, the capital of the Kingdom of Swaziland, or as decided by the king to rename the country, Eswatini.

The scenarios are very beautiful even if, at times, it seems a bit to be on our Alps, fortunately the joy of children at the roadside reminds us that we are in Africa!
