We are in South Africa and, more precisely, this morning we were at the Lesedi Cultural Village; yesterday we spent the day here and it was very interesting, while this morning, after having breakfast early, we leave.

Today more than 500 km are waiting for us, we are heading to the Mapungubwe National Park, that is located in the Province of Limpopo, in the North-East of South Africa, on the border with Zimbabwe.

We loaded Dr. Livingstone, our Toyota Hilux, and we left; we headed towards Pretoria, we crossed it and then we took the N1, the highway that connects Cape Town to Johannesburg and then goes up to Musina, not far from the Mapungubwe National Park.

Along the way we do not find much traffic while in Pretoria and Polokwane, the capital of the Province of Limpopo, there are many people on the street, either by car or on foot, much more than last year, maybe it was another day of the week.

At Polokwane we left the N1 and headed North East; from here we arrived to the border and, just before the border, we turned right onto the R 572 that took us to the gate of the Mapungubwe National Park; we have reached the most North-Eastern point of South Africa.

It took us almost 7 hours to travel 519 km, stops included, and now we cannot wait to get there.
