The World Ranger Day is celebrated on July 31, to pay homage to all those who work daily for the protection of nature and the beautiful animals that live in the many natural parks.

Unfortunately, many rangers lose their lives each year by carrying out their work, a job that sees them involved in a real war against poachers.

Since 2007, each year, July 31 is a day dedicated to remembering how important these boys and girls are, there are over 100,000 in the world among parks, natural reserves and oasis to protect.

On the Ranger Day there are numerous initiatives that the 63 associations involved in the celebration offer: natural walks, environmental campaigns, and encounters to educate to take care of nature and to raise awareness about the topic of poaching.

Since the beginning of the year, it is estimated that 105 rangers have lost their lives to defend our natural heritage, a sacrifice to be remembered and honored.

Thank you rangers!!
