Today we went to Hermanus to see the whales and we have seen several, what a wonderful animal.

Driving back to Cape Town, we do not go directly to the hotel, but we meet a couple of friends who, with their children and dog, have recently moved here to Cape Town.

We downloaded Google's offline map, that, before arriving in Cape Town, where there seems to be a lot of traffic, makes us divert and drive along a wonderful road in the greenery behind the Table Mountain.

Windmills apart, this is a very nice residential area with several beautiful homes and villas; as a scenery it seems to be in the mountains and in fact the road climbs along the slopes of the Table Mountain, to then go down to the other side.

These are the Costantia and Hout Bay neighborhoods where our friends live.

It's always a bit strange but it's fun to meet people you know and that you usually see in other contexts; in this case, until a few months ago they lived in Milan and now they are here.

In front of a glass of wine we talk about projects and Africa, we exchange ideas and opinions and time flies away fast.

We greet each other with the promise to come back to visit them next time we will be in Cape Town and we will definitely do it.

To return to the city we drive along the coastal road, it is a shame that it is already dark because this is a spectacular scenic road.

We drive back to the hotel, park our car and go to the room, today we have travelled a lot of kms and we are tired, we have to rest for tomorrow to start again.
