This morning we wake up as we always do at dawn, we are on the Okavango River and the sun rises beyond the opposite shore to where we are, the shore is full of high papyrus swaying in the wind; what a marvel, we have breakfast with this wonderful scenery and then we leave.

We head North to Namibia and we have to cross the border at Mohembo; we are sorry to leave Botswana because it is a wonderful country, both from natural and human point of view, but our journey continues and we are about to enter Namibia, that is a very fascinating country, albeit very different from Botswana.

This border post is somewhat more organized than the Martin Drift, where we have entered Botswana, the offices look new, and in fact we find out that they have a few years, before the border crossing was elsewhere.

We get out of Botswana quickly, because it’s just us, and then we enter Namibia.

We have to fill in some forms and pay 270 Namibian Dollars or South African Rand, the value of the two currencies is almost the same and all over Namibia they accept the Rand.

Even here it is only us and we have to pass three counters, the first two withdraw a form each and at the last one we make the payment; the girl at this desk is a character: she has the headphones with very high music and moves to the rhythm of it, but she has the headset just into one ear, so she can hear what's being said, too out of mind.

On the wall next to her there are several stickers of safari companies and some travelers' blogs, so we ask if we can also stick our Exploring Africa sticker, so travelers who pass here will be able to discover our site J

Done the formalities, we go back to our car and start again and after a few meters we are welcomed by a sign stating "Welcome to Namibia".
