This morning we drove on the N1 from Cape Town, leaving the town we pass through the townships and then, suddenly, we find ourselves immersed in nature.

The panoramas are spectacular, the road winds through some very photogenic bushes, that later give way to large spaces.

After less than five hours we arrive at the Karoo National Park, the entrance is right on the N1l, about 6km from the town of Beaufort West; we enter the gate and, first, we head to the rest camp and check in.

This morning we woke up, had breakfast at the rest camp restaurant and at 7.00am we went to see the map where the ranger mark every day the position of some animals inside the park; they are all too far away and we do not have much time before we leave.

We then decide to go along a part of the Lammertjiesleegte's path, take some photos and then head to the gate to get out.

Bye bye Karoo National Park, we will definitely return because it deserves to be explored more, despite its somewhat extreme climate.

This morning we wake up quietly, we have already packed our suitcases last night, and we have breakfast.

We take the camera because we are in a property where there are several wild animals and maybe we can see something.

In fact we see the giraffes, a male nyala and impalas; take a few pictures, even if we've already taken thousands and then we have breakfast.

After breakfast, we load the car and start off; this is the last stop of our trip and, unfortunately, tonight we have the flight that will take us home.

At Johannesburg Airport, we meet with a person from Klipkop, the long-term parking that keeps our car in our absence at 5.00pm at Terminal A.

The guy is a couple of minutes late and we take the opportunity to unload the car of all our luggage and arrange all the items we leave here, such as extensions, lights, car adaptor, thermic bottles and other things.

When the guy arrives, we give him the keys, he gets on and goes away with our car; what an infinite sadness, now for a while we will not see it and we will not silt on the slopes.

OR Tambo Johannesburg

Today we leave, we return to Milan with a lot of sadness in the heart, because we would like to stay here.

We handed our car to the long-term parking caretaker who keeps it until the next round, so we're ready to get in the airport with all of our luggage.

Queuing at Qatar's check-in there is no one, so we deliver the suitcases, take the tickets, and go to the control.

There are a few people, but the queue runs fast and luckily they did not open all luggage as it often happens.
