This is a stunning section of plain with a high concentration of animals.

 

In the rainy season this plain turns into a low grassland attracting many herbivorous, especially wildebeests, zebras and gazelles, and some carnivores, i.e. cheetahs, hyenas and lions, as a consequence.

 

It is also possible to spot hartebeests, ocelots and even storks migrating here from Europe, away from the cold winter.

 

With a little bit of luck, in this period it is possible to witness adrenalin-filled hunting scenes.

 

This area has no permanent water sources. Therefore, during the dry season, few are the animals that can live here.
