To reach this place it is necessary to go through a long journey from the Gol Kopjes, but the effort will be paid back with one of the most breathtaking sights in the Park.

The Barafu Gorge divides the Easternmost part of the Serengeti National Park. Next to it, the Kopjes: seven pink granite outcrops acting as a border to the Park.

Around the Kopjes, the Serengeti Plains stretch out as far as the eye can see. When the Migration passes through these lands, it is possible to see the herds.

Other animals residing in the area are: lions, gazelles, cheetahs, gemsboks, honey badgers, golden jackals, African hares.
