The Himba, the Namibian Red population, are an incredibly fascinating people just for the color of their skin, that is treated with a mixture of butter and red ocher to protect it from the heat of the sun and the insects.
Dresses and hairstyles make the Himba one of the most photogenic populations of the entire African continent.
The Himba maintain a lifestyle still tied to traditions; our progress and lifestyle has not yet influenced them, or they banally reject it and prefer to live like their ancestors.
They live in a very arid Namibia area and this does not allow them to practice farming, so the Himba are only practicing cattle breeding.
