The Fish River Canyon is one of the largest gorges in the world and, unlike its American cousin, the Grand Canyon, the Fish River is in a place incredibly deserted and devoid of human intervention where the gaze is lost to the horizon.

Reaching the edge of the Canyon gives incredible views, the river winds at the bottom of the gorge, creating a strong contrast of colors between the green and intense blue of the water and the red walls of the Canyon.

To fully enjoy the beauty of this place and to find out more about how many animals live by exploiting the river waters, you can make very suggestive treks that include one or more camping nights at the bottom of the Canyon.
