This Conservancy of 69 sq km is located North-East of the Masai Mara National Reserve, in a remote and wild area.
The earnings from tourists staying in lodges and tented camps finance the conservation of nature and animals, the maintenance of roads of the reserve and other maintenance activities; they also provide benefits for the Masai communities living here, in this regard a primary school for children of the Masai villages was set up.
One project involves the transformation of waste of recyclable materials into works of art or crafts, another project supports women, while another operates in the poorest areas of Nairobi.
