The Konkomba or Komba, are a population of farmers and proud warriors, living in the Northern Ghana region, on the banks of the Oti River.

In the past, the Konkomba gave rise to a strong resistance to the invaders, whether they were local bordering populations such as the Dagomba or the European colonial powers.

This population strongly believes in the power of mother earth and in the spirits of their ancestors, an important role is played by witchcraft and those who practice it are feared, even if sometimes they are isolated.
