The Halaba or Alaba, live on the plateaus of Ethiopia practicing agriculture, breeding and beekeeping.

Among the characteristics that distinguish this population is the tradition of painting the exterior and interior of their huts with drawings depicting daily actions or elements of nature.

The other characteristic is represented by the huge top hat that the Halaba men wear during every moment of the day, the Koomita, that gives them a unique and elegant look with something retro.
