This morning we left from Arbaminch, in Ethiopia, to go and visit a Konso village, the road is the same as when we arrived here from Jinka, in fact it is the Karat-Konso-Jinka road.
After about a couple of hours drive, in which we have traveled 85 km, we reach the town of Karat-Konso that is the most important urban center present in the Konso lands.

We are always at Arbaminch, in Ethiopia; this morning we took a car safari inside the Nechsar National Park; this afternoon, instead, we take a boat ride on Lake Chamo, that is always part of the national park.

We are at Arbaminch in Ethiopia, today it is dedicated to the exploration of the Nechisar National Park and the Chamo Lake.

We are at Jinka, in Southern Ethiopia, this morning we got up, after a regenerating sleep, and we went to have breakfast, then we take our suitcases and we leave; today we return to Arbaminch.
Before leaving Jinka we try to withdraw some cash in local currency; we tried already yesterday, but there was no electricity and the ATM was not working, but today the electricity is there, but there are problems with the system, no matter we will try again at Arbaminch; this is Africa!

We are at the Mago National Park in Ethiopia, we came here mainly to visit the Mursi but also to see this small natural corner; in fact, this morning we took a trip around the park.
We liked the Mago National Park very much even if you can see few animals, unfortunately many species have been decimated by poaching; we have lunch in a corner in the shade enjoying the peace and silence of this place.

We are at Jinka, in Ethiopia, and today is entirely dedicated to the Mursi and the Mago National Park where this tribe lives.
We leave from Jinka and head towards the entrance of the park, here is the head quarter; we pay the entrance fee for us and for our car and load a local guide who was waiting for us, we immediately notice that he is armed; this guide will remain with us for as long as we stay in the Mago National Park.

We are at Jinka in Southern Ethiopia, we arrived today at lunchtime, even here it is hot, but it is definitely better than at Turmi.
We are happy because tomorrow we will go to the Mago National Park to see the Mursi and we are looking forward to it; but we don't know if we have to walk under the sun or if the village can be reached by car, if the temperatures are mild we don't worry about it.

We are in Turmi, a small town in the Omo Valley in Southern Ethiopia, we slept here three nights and visited different populations like the Kara, mistakenly called Karo, the Dassanech and the Hamer, we were also lucky enough to attend the ceremony of the bull

We are in Ethiopia and this morning we visited a Dassanech village, it was a very interesting experience; then we went back to the hotel for lunch and to rest for a while, the heat of this morning proved us a little.
Around 3:00pm we leave by our car and with our guide and head towards our destination this afternoon: the town of Dimeka.

This morning we wake up and, after breakfast, we leave by our car and head South-West, we have to go to Omorate; along the road we meet no one, only a few vultures busy feeding on a carcass.
We take about an hour to reach Omorate, from here we take a small boat that takes us to the opposite bank of the Omo River; there is a little current and the punt seems to meet a bit of a struggle to reach the opposite shore.
