We are at the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, in the part of iMfolozi, in South Africa; this is the first time we venture into this part of the park.

We chose the Mpila Camp that has both cottages and tents and we have preferred the latter.

We check in, take a ride to the store, but it has very few things, we, knowing it, are prepared, we did the shopping in St. Lucia the other day.

We follow the signs for the tent no. 27 and, when we find it, we park Dr. Livingstone and take the path that leads to our tent.

How beautiful! It is located on a wooden platform and is composed of three parts, the central area that consists of a large wooden terrace where there is also a table, benches and some chairs; a second part consists of the main tent where there are both the bedroom and the bathroom and the last part, a small house built with bamboo canes, inside which there is a fully equipped kitchen.

The kitchen is closed with a nice bolt because between monkeys and baboons during the day and hyenas and honey rates the night is better to lock the provisions.

There is also the braai in an isolated position and outside the perimeter of the tent, they told us to be careful if we cook the meat because the hyenas come close and, as soon as they have the chance, they steal it; tomorrow night we'll find out if it's true and how the fight for dinner will end.

Tonight we enjoy a beautiful sunset in bright colors drinking a Spritz made with Aperol and chardonnay by Casa Montini, our favorite winery from Oltrepò Pavese.

We cook dinner, but we do not use the braai, but the kitchen; at a certain point, while we are eating, a spotted hyena arrives and looks at us; for this evening we cheated it, the hyenas in fact steal the food from the braai, tomorrow we'll see what happens.

Today it was a long day but one of the most beautiful of this trip for the sightings we have made.
