How nice to be back in Johannesburg in South Africa, we're so happy, the problems, the work, the hassles are literally thousands of miles away; here only the safaris await us, tracks, meetings that will surely be exciting and sightings of animals that we hope will be amazing.

After collecting the luggage we leave the area reserved for passengers, it is nice to know an airport because you know where to go to find what you are looking for.

First we change the money, the exchange rate is at 15.7, that is, for a Euro, they give us 15.7 Rands, it’s improved a bit in our favor compared to last year.

Then we go to the Vodacom store, we need a South African phone number because Dr. Livingstone's insurance, our car, needs a phone number in the country to report the car's movements; until now we have taken advantage of the kindness of a friend of ours, but it is time to have our number.

Also we were going to take a data card to put in our portable wi-fi router, but at the store they offered us an advantageous option: the rental!

They keep 1,000 Rands from the credit card as a deposit, you can choose how many Giga you want to load on the card, but the interesting thing is that if you do not consume all the Giga, when you return the router they will give you the money back, so you only pay what actually consumed; while if you consume all the Giga purchased you have just to write an email to add more, Vodacom automatically sends an email when the giga are about to end, so a customer knows how to adjust.

The only limit is that the portable router must be returned to the store where you rent it, but it's fine for us because we will leave from the International airport of OR Tambo in Johannesburg and so it's perfect.

After that we go to take the shuttle to our hotel, the Premier OR Tambo Hotel; last year we found ourselves so well here that we decided to come back, our journey really started, we are too happy..
