As always at the end of a journey, besides starting to program another one, it is the moment when the sums are drawn, and this time too we have done this exercise:
1 visited nation, Tanzania

7 days of safari
4 National Parks and 1 Conservation Area: Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area
2,540 km traveled, most on dirt roads
6 populations encountered during the trip: Datoga, Hadzabe, Masai, Mbugwe, Mbulu or Iraqw and Makonde
11,842 photographs taken
12:23 hours of video
Important sightings:
57 lions
4 leopards
11 cheetahs
3 aardwolves, it is the first time we see them, despite all our safaris
More than 30 species of birds to add to our check list
All 3 different species of jackals in Africa: black-backed jackal, side-striped jackal and golden, or common, jackal
1 hunting scene by the cheetahs was successful
Although we have just returned, we cannot wait to go back to our beloved Africa!
