Tonight the temperature was particularly stiff and this morning, leaving the duvet was a test of strength, in any case we woke up at dawn to enjoy the day; today the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is waiting for us.

During the night we heard a noise of hooves that seemed too heavy to be those of the antelopes, we spied on and saw a group of horses galloping toward the unknown; who knows where they came from.

After a quick breakfast we leave towards the Kgalagadi, a wild and relatively poorly mass tourism park.

We close the camp gate behind us, to prevent the antelopes from fleeing from the farm and disperse in the surrounding desert, and we get on the dirt road leading to the gate of Mata-Mata.

The road seems to have just been beaten, in fact it is dirt but as smooth as the asphalt.

In the mirrors we see the long trail of dust that we rise at our passage; when we encounter a vehicle that comes in the opposite direction, we literally eat the dust and see nothing, it seems to be in the fog.

Along the road, on the branches of the trees, we notice giant nests, we stop to observe them better, they are real condos built by the social weavers; sometimes they reach size and weight such to break the branch they rely on.

We travel about 200 kilometers in just under two and a half hours and come to the gate of the park, the Mata Mata Gate, this is also the Namibian state border, so we leave Namibia, but, for the entry into South Africa, we'll have to wait to get out of the park through the Twee Rivieren gate.

We salute Namibia that has given us spectacular days, fantastic landscapes and incredible sightings of animals.

We are sure we will meet again soon!
