We are going to South Africa and we are on board our flight to Johannesburg, we woke up a couple of hours before landing, we slept really well and we can't wait to land.

As soon as the hostesses see that we are awake they serve us breakfast; we really needed a cappuccino and a croissant, now we are ready and count the minutes left to land.

We arrive at OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg at 10.00 in the morning, we are going to immigration first; we went down first flying in business class and therefore we don't find queue and, in a short time, we take care of the formalities.

Immediately afterwards we go to collect the suitcases, that arrive almost immediately; luckily all the bags arrived, we have several essential things inside and it would have been a nuisance if they hadn't arrived.

We go out and in front of us there is a wall of people, they are all guides or car rental men who have come to pick-up the customers; this time we too have someone waiting for us, our Dr. Livingstone is at Bushlore to do a check-up, so we're going to pick it up right there.

We intercept the guy of Bushlore, that we do not know how it is possible but remembers very well of us even if we saw him 2 years ago; but before leaving the airport we go to the exchange office and change Euros for South African Rand and also take the Botswana Pula.

We leave the airport with the boy from Bushlore, we get in the car with him and we leave, it takes us about half an hour to arrive; we look forward to seeing our Dr. Livingstone.

Here it is finally! It is there ready to go, everything is clean and white, who knows how long it will last and who knows how it will come back; we take a picture to compare when we return in a month.

We meet our friend Dieter, who is the one who sold the car to us and who takes care of having our regular check-ups done, he tells us that they did all the work we requested and they did a general check, but there would be also the second battery to change because it no longer holds; better to change it since this year in many places we will not have the electricity.

He also proposes us to install the solar panel on the roof, so as to always have the electricity, regardless of the second battery and the campground posts, moreover the attacks would be inside the rear part and therefore it is much more convenient to recharge either when we are stopping and while we travel.

We obviously change the second battery immediately, while the solar panel needs to be installed and needs time, so Dieter orders it and, when we finish our tour, we will bring Dr. Livingstone back here to do the work.

Good! At this point we are ready to go, we say goodbye to Dieter and Bushlore; see you in a month!
