The Skeleton Coast National Park, founded in 1973, is located in Namibia and is one of the most inhospitable places on the African continent and the entire planet; the climate is arid and the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, in this point, are particularly insidious: the strong waves, that break on the coast and move the sand dunes that are found on the front, and the Benguela Stream, that makes the temperature of the water very cold, have made several victims.

The almost lunar landscapes with the sand dunes, that move thanks to the force of the winds, the wrecks of the ships, that have been wrecked here over the centuries, and the abandoned skeletons of whales, sea lions and other mammals, including man, make this place one of the most terrifying and fascinating of our planet.
