The Etosha National Park is located in Namibia and it is a must-see destination for anyone who loves nature and animals, the "great white place”, as it is called in the local language, is an arid expanse with a pan inside, a salty depression, that in prehistoric times was the basin of a lake, but now has dried and receives water only for short periods during the rainy season.

In the park, there are numerous species of animals and sightings, during the dry season, are relatively easy because, especially mammals, are concentrated in the vicinity of natural and artificial water holes.

There are many species of mammals, birds and reptiles but the Etosha National Park is mainly famous for its ghost elephants, so called due to the white land they sprinkle on the skin and that makes them white, just like ghosts.
